ridiculous wait... they blamed the backlog because of the change to meet WTLP regs. I considered cancelling and tried a few other vehicles but there's not a lot to compare and i'm a Golf fan! This is my 6th Golf R!

Ordered my mk7.5 in January 2019, hoping to get delivery wk43!!!

Still no delivery date on the system for my Lapiz Blue mk7.5 Estate. Dealer told me in May it would be wk27 (which is now) but today they are saying it will be wk 35 and it will be MY20! Anyone know of any changes of improvements on the MY20??

I keep tissues, dusting cloth, spare phone charging / usb cables (for when friends and family come for a ride with out a charger) and sweets you wanna hide from kids! Also a safer hiding place to leave your wallet/valuables when you park your car up in a public place for a while - slightly less chance of some **** finding them. I use them regularly and would miss them if I didn't have them.

Sorry if this is already somewhere on a chat, but my old chap has just received his new Mk7,5 R estate and there's no storage bins under the front seats!!! Phoned the dealer because they came standard on the Mk7. Dealer said "I've checked the brochure and they are not listed as standard or an option so VW obviously don't do them any more." Can anyone confirm? Is this a cost cutting exercise by VW? They are super useful drawers - can they be taken from a Mk7 and retro-fitted?

Thanks @Batch for clearing that up. I've got a Mk7 at the moment and you can easily unscrew the tips as they are hanging on the bumper as you say. I've not seem a Mk7.5 to check it out yet.

I've done 73k miles in 3 years in my 2016 R Estate, it is a cracking good car but I think my right foot is a bit heavy... I'm not seeing what some of you guys have been getting. I've been all over the UK and Europe and never had more than 35mpg. My long-term fluctuates between 22-25mpg.

Thanks #RyanB I'm not wanting to spend that sort of money so will have to see what it comes like! What is a remote for opening the valves, sorry I'm not too clued up on such things!

Thanks #SpursMadDave Sorry, I don't have the vehicle yet, it is on order (and has been since January!) - due end of August! Res delete is an option - do you get any drone or boominess? I've got a Mk7 at the moment and only 2 tips are used, 2 are fake. I gather the Mk7.5 is different and the tips are all used and not easily changed (possibly welded on rather than screwed/clipped). I love these, but can you get an aftermarket one (or copy)?

Hello VWROC Can anyone help? I'm new to this forum so don't know if I'm doing this correct! I've got a post WLTP Mk7.5 'R' Estate on order and I need some advice on the exhaust system... I want pops and bangs on the override and downshifts I want DSG farts I want Akrapovic style tips (more subtle than horrible oval chrome tips) I don't want drone when town/city driving What should I do, where do I start?

Ordered 2 estates in January - one Lapiz Blue and one Oryx White - Lapiz Blue due for delivery end of August, Oryx White delivered last week!
