Mine also does this and is on 20k miles.. Becomes higher pitched as the revs go up until the engine drowns the sound out. Like you said its not very loud, kind a have to listen out for it and it's in sport mode. I just assumed it was the sound of the gearbox!

This could well be the risk free option. I'm pissed enough at her to do it as well. Be handy for when the day comes where I need to put a pram in there with the dog ☠️

Off off, long press! And to be honest, on my vxr which is known for understeer, I put some falken ze310's on and it stuck in the wet! So I may look into the falkens and weigh up the prices. They can't be worse than these potenzas.

The liner we had was good but it only velcroed to the carpet on the sides unfortunately. She has toys in the back and she's been fine for the last 6 months but in this one occasion she's decided to pull the carpet up. Can't find anywhere at all that recarpet cars so I think I'm just gonna have to cover it up with, like you say, a better boot liner for the time being

So my dogs recoded to rip the side carpet out of my 7.5estate boot. Can anyone recommend anywhere in the NorthWest that could re carpet it? Or possibly recarpet in with a stronger more dog friendly material? (had a boot liner but she destroyed that too) Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

So, this morning I did my first wet launch, and I mean WET! Results always looked good in videos so I wanted to experience it. Is a 17 plate 7.5 dsg on 20k. Did the usual, into race sport, traction fully off, foot on brake.. Said launch control active as it should, built boost and went for it. It spun on the spot, made a bit of a clunk power dropped right off, before spinning up again and finally going.. All in all it felt like a shite launch 😂 done another since while its dried up and everything's fine, nothings snapped. Anyone know what it could be? Could it be this xds thing kicking in and popping the brakes on mid wheelspin? Do wet launches not go aswell as they appear to in car review videos? On a side note aswell I've had. The back end kick out a few times in the wet when not really giving it any... Ps4 on the front and potenzas on the back, are the potenzas just shit? I've only had the car a few months but a large part of why I got it was its reputation for handling in the wet and so far it's been less than great

Mk7 and 7.5 interchangeable? Also do you know if they will match the rear door cards of my r estate looks wise? (no lights in the rear)

So in regards to the lighting on the door cards and next to the sill, has anyone had these changed to a different colour? Are their kits available? Also, the carbon trim on the passenger side of the dash.. Has anyone had one with a light installed to match the door cards?

Hey guys. Had my 7.5 R wagon for about 2 weeks now so thought I'd best make an account! Only other VW I've had was a 1987 polo, 1.0l 4 speed.
