AceB
Always seem to be adding new topics. Apologies if people are getting frustrated now 😅 Just as a new R owner. Wanna make it great. This time it’s in regards to tints. I’ve got the stock 90% rear tints which I’m a fan of. However. Due to the front windows not being touched at all, to me it seems like a big difference from no tints to 90%. Are there any owners that have tinted the front windows but much lighter than the rear? Im thinking of going for 35-50% Tints at the front. Thanks Shug
Count Drunkula
That's just asking for trouble from the law. UK law states : The front windscreen must let at least 75% of light through and the front side windows must let at least 70% of light through. you might get away with 25% on front
AceB
Oh Yh. Damm forgot aboub that tbh. So how would it look with 25%?

In the right section, even better. 😂 Mk7 Chat section is your friend (I’ve moved this to there). 👍 As above re the fronts. The stock rear tint is 65%. 90% was an optional choice. AceB
So Would you lot suggest leaving the fronts how they are un-tinted?? Just asking because I can imagine it’s not that private with peeping toms looking into the car while walking past?

You can have them tinted just be aware of the legal limits. my rears are 95% and fronts are whatever stock tint % is. Shug

delboy01
I'd prefer no tint. I've noticed a darkness to my rear dashcam image that must be the rear window having the standard 65% tint.?

A bit yes but as a dogging wagon, the pouch likes it dark in the back, especially true in the summer.

If you’re going ‘dogging’ in your wagon.. I’d have thought no tints are best Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
