i'd be concerned too, did you get the Reg number? check if the cars taxed and mot'd on a app called 'total car check' which I've got on my iPhone. It's free to download and free to check too, then go on google and put mid check. Check if it's insured for free too, if anything is missing then you know it's dodgy and can phone the police. Just be-careful getting in and out of the car as most likely they would try with the keys!

Hi mate I'd say stick with 20%, I know it's expensive but as the insurance company is informed of the modification now it's best to tell them what JB1/burgers quoted figures are. If you ever get involved in a accident, they will check via the website and if they find out that you didn't give them the right figures then they'll avoid your policy and not pay out. Don't forget insurance companies look for any excuse not to pay!

i normally let my engine run for about 2mins before switching it off, launch control is amazing. Once you try it, you'll be tempted to keep on using it all the time!

When I got my R back in sept, I ran it in for 250miles. After that I drove it really hard, even did 155mph trying to chase a c63 amg after 300miles on the clock! Now I've done 6800miles and no issues what so ever.

Hi mate, sorry to hear about your car. I know exactly how it feels as years back I had my car keyed 3 time over 6 month period, had to get Cctv put up. Since then I've had no issues, hope your over the meltdown now as This would be effecting your family and friends, stayed relaxed mate.

Hi mate, that's totally understandable. I was also looking at dsg maps but I'm putting it on hold until your situations sorted. Hopefully they get to the bottom of it and repair your car.

Good luck with your fix, ppl come on forum's to discuss, help and advice other members. But seems like this forum member wants advice and help for himself but is not willing to help others by naming the tuner. Let's hope we don't have another member on here with the same issue!

Best to take it back to the dealers and get it checked, you prob lost half of your clutches life in that incident!
