Afternoon all, Need some advice. My neighbour just 'phoned me to say he had scared off two men from my car, one was standing next to it and the other leaning in. The car wasn't broken in to but was unlocked. One of two things must have happened, either I left it unlocked (I can't 100% rule this out) or they had some sort of device to unlock it. I have a MK7.5 Golf R without keyless entry and wondered if these are prone / easyish to unlock? AS I say, I wouldn't rule out not locking the car by mistake, but has me worried especially as I had an attempted breakin at my house a couple of weeks ago which I managed to disturb, maybe they were after the keys. Maybe they came back? Thinking maybe it's time to get a Ghost immobiliser.

Similar experience but whilst travelling at "just a little" over 70mph he was only just about pulling away. Not much in it tbh I do have a little extra than stock though.

More than happy with it, it's very different to before, it just pulls like a tractor in every gear. It's what it should have been from the factory - The VW Golf R Animal edition

Some nice healthy gains there. Took it a bit easy on the way home, far too much snow etc around but the most impressive thing is the acceleration from 60 up, it's much much better than before. Definitely quicker off the line too! Thanks to Will and the team @VRSNorthampton great jpb!

The time has come - Tomorrow my 3 month old Golf R goes Stage 1. I promised and promised myself that after spending 10's of thousands on my previous cars that this one would stay standard. You are a bad, bad man Tristan for persuading me! See you tomorrow! Don't expect any photo's, my car will look like it hasn't been washed in a year by the time I do the 100 mile journey, but I will post before/after dyno runs

So, I always promised myself that I'd go Stage 1 ARP once I reached 1,000 miles. I'm now at 1,100 :D:D There is a lot of dealers out there, but I'd rather use one that is recommended, anyone else In the London/Essex area that has used an ARP dealer? My nearest one is apparently Tuning Werkes in South Croydon.

After going out for a walk and watching the way people drive in ice and snow I’m glad I decided not to take my car out lol

That's rubbish :'( I don't mean this to rub it in but mine got there on 21st and I now have the car. It seems like one big fat lottery, sorry to hear you aren't winning it 😢
