Still nothing for me. I think there's a few us of BW9ers who been extremely unlucky. Apparently VW have scheduled 8500 vehicles to be shipped over in the next 4-5 days so if I don't receive a stage 6 notification by the end of the week I give up lol

Good luck for those collecting today. Looking forward to seeing lots of pics!

Just called the Birmingham dealership and was told the same thing, on their tracker my car showed that its still at Emden.....

It seems we have been very unlucky!  It's been 3 weeks exactly since my 5a and 1 week exactly since my 5b.  No 5c yet!!

It's really disappointing but what can you do! My retailer has been very helpful and understanding which is good and to be fair to him when I initially placed the order back in October he told me to expect a March/April delivery but once I was confirmed BW9 and the car reached Emden on the 4th it was hard not to get excited and expect it to be here by now. I know there's a large volume of cars coming over this time of year but you'd expect VW to prioritise ordered vehicles over stock vehicles and you definitely don't expect later BWs arriving before earlier BWs. Oh well, hopefully it will be here soon!

Do i remember you saying your car had a registration date of 20 March on the documentation? If I've got that correct then surely the car can't be registered if it's still in Germany? I thought the car had to be on UK soil for it to be registered.

I think the registration date is 14 days in advance which is your cooling off period - the earliest you can get the car usually.

Which dealership? I believe my car is coming from Birmingham if the car reg location is anything to go by. It starts BN15 which is apparently a Birmingham area allocation.

Correct! Docs were arranged on the 5th (day after my car reached Emden) and I signed them on the 7th. I can't 100% remember exactly what it was my retailer said but it was along the lines of having it in place so that the car can get taxed etc as I queried this the other day saying the registration date needs changing 1) as the car isn't here yet and 2) the first payment goes out 30 days after the registration date so I'm not paying for something I don't have and I want the full 30 day window once I do get it.

I don't think I get you. Doesn't the 14 day cooling off apply to the financial agreement so if you sign and date it 14 march you have until the 28th to pull out. Surely this is completely independent of the car registration date?
