Part numbers/cost of TCR side skirts?
Amozza20 replied to BobbyT's topic in Modifying your Golf R MK7
@blower I don’t suppose you know the PN for the TCR front spoiler do you? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Here’s mine with 10/15 spacers currently. Eibach springs going on in a couple of weeks [emoji1360] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You will struggle to find discounts on new Rolex watches. Some authorised dealers will offer a small discount when purchasing with cash. I brought a ‘used with stickers’ model 2 years ago that is effectively new but used maybe once or twice but still has all its original stickers on which came with quite a discount for this reason. Would deffo buy another like this again [emoji1360] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Welcome to R ownership! I’m sure you will thoroughly enjoy the ride, will warn you now it may be an expensive one! [emoji1787] I’ve had my R 18 months or so and my first real performance mod was a JB4 tuning box (fitted a few months ago). It gives very respectable power increases for a much lower cost that a stage 1 tune. It can also be sold on to recoup some funds. This week I took delivery of my second performance mod being a Ramair intake with a turbo elbow. Haven’t fitted this just yet but have heard great things when combined with a JB4/stage 1 tune. I had a resonator delete fitted a few months into ownership but wouldn’t call it exactly a performance mod, albeit an excellent modification. With these three you should see some change out of £1,000. Based on experience they would be my recommendation [emoji1360] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cheating a bit as not what I’ve done but couldn’t resist. Paint correction and ceramic coating applied by Bourne to Detail [emoji2956] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Checked my service book yesterday and my first service was at 6k miles and oil change noted Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My R is going to Will at Bourne to Detail in a few weeks for correction and ceramic coating, his work is incredible. Not far from you at all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lapiz blue r ordered but which colour prets? WLTP differences?
Amozza20 replied to Mishh's topic in VW Golf R MK7 Chat
From the exterior I have the same spec including the pano roof. Personally I think the blue and black Pretoria combo suits it really well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Mine is a 67 reg 7.5 so had a resonator from factory. I have seen a couple pics of the underside of post WLTP (think that’s the right way) cars and apparently they do not have a resonator but not 100% sure. Yes the res delete would have effected my warranty but only on the exhaust itself. Other parts will still be under warranty, wheels, gearbox and so on. My mechanical knowledge is non existent too mate don’t worry [emoji1787] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Welcome along! Expect this forum to deplete you bank balance in the near future! I have a BCS res delete on my 7.5 and it sounds awesome. Nige from BCS is on here and very helpful with information. If you want your front badge black you will have to get it tinted. I’ve had mine done in a light smoke, rear is a straightforward eBay job! Enjoy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Black front and rear [emoji1360] not a massive fan of chrome so wanted rid Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

BCS anti drone res delete here and find it fantastic all round. Slightly louder on a cold start, very oem in normal mode, great sound with good pops in race mode [emoji1360] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Had my BCS Res Delete fitted at TuningWerkes but not sure if they offer their own pipes. Would recommend BCS though [emoji1360] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks pal! Been a busy year of mainly cosmetic mods but think I’ve got it looking just right now. Performance mods likely to be next! Better brace my wallet for a beating! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not today but the last few weeks... finally fully de-chromed with badge inlays, front badge tint and black rear badge. Also fitted a Maxton lip spoiler Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I can only speak for the BCS res delete and yes, it is pricier than other pipes but it is fantastic! I understand it’s slightly wider in diameter than other res deletes which apparently helps enhance the sound (I am no expert btw, just what I have heard). I’ve also had positive comments from members who do also have a res delete, not BCS, at how good mine sounds. But Shak on the Facebook page sells res delete pipes by the bucket load so I am certain that’s a great product too especially considering the price. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Resonator delete pipe - Yes or No?
Amozza20 replied to GregR-125's topic in Modifying your Golf R MK7
BCS Res Delete here and think it’s bloody brilliant. 7.5 with 5k miles and the sound is spot on IMHO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Most would say for ease and convenience, however for me it’s mainly for the start button [emoji1787] worth every penny... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It’s criminal of the manufacturers really that they are so slow to take action! I love my keyless but I think I’d struggle sleeping at night if my R wasn’t locked away in my garage Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
