Hi Kerbed my wheel very lightly and do not fancy paying a specialist £116 to re-powder coat. A little paint and it will be something that you need to hunt to find. Anyone know the black colour code? I have searched loads and can only find people talking about the grey colour. Cheers

Why do you guys run different sizes front and back? Wouldnt the same size increase front and back be better for the car? Keeping it more in line with the original design?

Hey gents, My 7 month-old, 9K milage R has a number of stone chips on its bonnet. I am going to get them sorted and the car coated with Crystal Serum ( pretty sure that is the one the body shop I am going to uses ) Does anyone know how much more resilient my bonnet will be to future chips are being ceramic coated? Bear with me... As you know the Golf R is the greatest piece of engineering EVER! The other car brands fear it and are out to bring it down, especially Audi! This can be the only reason why they keep putting it up against RS3's in tests or using manual versions vs autos... Its a conspiracy I tell you! Also, the world is definitely flat!

To be honest, my dad has gotten worse since moving from a BMW to a Hyundai. He honestly uses the GPS to work out if the road is straight. If it is straight.. its ok to overtake... ( I WISH I was joking )

My most annoying harassment happened when I was in my 2005 JDM Subaru STI, a good number of years ago. I was driving back from Bracknell to Portsmouth at about 10 at night, I was driving a little over 70 ( Allegedly ) and another Subaru came roaring up behind me. This Scooby was sitting right on my tail and clearly wanted to see what my car had ( around 380bhp ). I dropped a few gears and planted it, the car pulled into the middle lane and I very quickly got to about 95 and then backed off. It was enough to make the point that mine wasn’t stock 😝 The other car pulled alongside, I looked over to smile and wave to see a couple of Coppers. They smiled, waved and then vanished off as fast as their unmarked Interceptor could take them. Annoying because I am pretty sure mine was faster than theirs

My local body shop in Gosport, Hampshire will strip to bare metal and respray for around £300. He is excellent and his work is top class. I have used this guy for the last 5 years or so for a number of cars with a variety of damages, usually inflicted by my dad. I am going to get my bonnet resprayed and have the whole car detailed and ceramic sealed at some point in the next few months. Just got a wedding to pay for first.

Hi Every time I get in my car and start it, the screen shows a standard grey golf! Mine is a Bright Red R! oooooh.. It triggers me something chronic! I wish you could change the graphic to represent your actual car. It would be such a great and I think relatively simple to produce personalisation.
