  1. So today was the day... Managed to get a 15% off code from blackcircles (from a previous screw up their side which I complained about). Went into ATS this morning to have them fitted. I went for Michelin Pilot Sport 5's in the end. I went this route just because I wanted to try them out after having PS4S's on the M4. So far, i've only driven a mile and it's a harsher ride over the Cadiz but the looks make up for it. I booked in for 4 wheel alignment but ATS said they couldn't do it because their machine wouldn't fit between the tyre and arch. Anyone else had this? Seems a bit mental, what happens when an R goes in with these wheels fitted from factory? He wasn't having it though. The other thing that concerns me is a couple of the centre caps are loose, i'm sure i've read the Cadiz and Pretoria share the same centre caps. Anyone got any tips to get these to fit better for they don't fly off? Anyway, the clubsport s discs look epic behind them.
  2. I have been considering the Conti SC7 but i'm not a huge fan of the sidewall. I know the performance and technology is more up to date than the PS4s and tyres are more about that, but I just think the Michelins look a lot better. I had Conti's on the front of my M4 and Michelins on the back so I had a direct comparison and the Conti's just didn't do it for me. Once they are on the car i'll post up some pics for sure.
  3. I'll probably swerve the dynamic centre caps given the price of them is outrageous. I'll just swap them between the Cadiz and the Prets, unless they look a bit worn out against the new wheels.
  4. That's interesting, I was going to go for Michelins, either PS4s or PS5 but was hoping to wait until they are around £500 a set. How does the cash back work? Do you apply to Michelin once you've had them fitted? Black circle have 10% off at the moment so there is a deal there.
  5. Brand new genuine Pretoria's. I know they aren't the most robust wheels but I love the look of them so i'll take the risk and keep the Cadiz as backup and winter wheels. Slightly un-planned but they came up at an unbelievably good price in sealed boxes and I couldn't say no. I'm hoping to wait for a 15% discount day on black circles before I wrap them in tyres but the temptation may get the better of me. But first thing is to give them a coat with a wheel sealant whilst they are bare.
  6. wow £132, I thought the BMW ones were bad at £80 when I was going to fit them on my M4
  7. Hi all, I'm thinking about changing the wheels on my 7.5 R to Pretoria's. I just wanted to know if the centre caps are the same as the Cadiz? Or if I will need to change them too? I had a quick search on the forum but couldn't find anything unless anyone can share a link to the question that's already been answered. If I need to change them, does anyone have a part number for the set? Thanks
  8. I'd like to go and see it outside of the F1 circus as I imagine it has a completely different feel to the place. The yachts are something to behold and everyone there seems to just look different. It must be all the money they are dripping in. Definitely an experience to remember and I would encourage anyone to go and be part of the weekend. I'll 100% return one day.
  9. It's actually insane to see it in person and you don't get a feel for how tight some of the corners actually are on tv. For example, we sat having food in steak and shake overlooking turn 1 and I couldn't believe how tight it is in person.
  10. Something that I have wanted to do for such a long time and I can actually say I have been and done it. After much deliberation of how and where to buy tickets for the F1 in Monaco It was actually really easy and I got them directly through the ACM website on the day they were released. We toyed with the idea of which days to go but considering the race can sometimes be a bit of a procession, we decided to go for Saturday tickets and watch P3 and Quali. In hindsight, we should of got tickets to both Saturday and Sunday as I felt like I was missing out when we were catching the flight home on Sunday (even though it was considerably cheaper to fly home that day!) We flew into Nice on the Tuesday where we were based for the whole week, very close to the train station so it was super easy to get around, the tram is incredibly easy and perfect for getting around Nice. We headed over to Monaco on the Wednesday by train to have a look around before everything completely shut down. It was great because we managed to easily walk around the whole track, take in the atmosphere and even walk the pit lane! Saturday was hectic, we got a train in Nice at 7:20am thinking it would be chaos but it wasn't that busy and managed to get on the train easily. We made our way to Grandstand B (Casino Square) before heading back down towards the start/finish straight to take in the atmosphere, we then queued to get into the fanzone to try and watch the driver interviews but ended up waiting there for an hour and no one was being let in so I got fed up, threw my toys out the pram and said I didn't spend all that money to stand in a line. We managed to get back to the grandstand in time for the F3 sprint (albeit missing the crash at Casino and only just catching the clean up). After qualifying we got a bite to eat down at the start/finish straight again before the track opened around 8pm where we then walked the whole track. For an F1 fan that has been watching the race on tv for years it was the most incredible experience. Walking around iconic parts of the track was something else and made the hair on the back of my neck stand up, we clocked up over 30,000 steps on the Saturday alone! The yacht's were amazing, we spent ages just watching the rich and famous have fun 😎 Anyway, enough talking....here are some pictures from the weekend.
  11. Thanks Rebecca, I'm still a bit cautious about attacking them as they look really bad and don't want to make them worse. But i may just have to bite the bullet and have a go.
  12. So glad I came across this thread as the exhaust tips on my 7.5 need attention. Is Mothers still the go-to product for everyone?
  13. These look lovely and suit the interior extremely well.
  14. wow, i don't think i've ever seen such a comprehensive reply to a question on a forum. I've learnt loads from reading your response @dv52
