JaseW
Hello just been offered 20710 for my 2015 dsg golf r as a px on Touareg is this a good price my car has 17500 miles and in lovely condition Check all the car buying websites, get a quote from them and see. Also look at CAP car valuation - this is the one dealers all use to value a car. There is also parkers used car valuation, auto trader, the AA...... See how they all compare as trade in prices and many of those sites also give you private poor, fair, good and excellent condition prices too. DUB
Seems reasonable to me for a trade in price 👍
camelsac2002
Do the reverse Carwow where dealers give you their best price for buying a new car - go to Drive the Deal and offer your car there then dealers offer the best price to buy your car. Gotta be worth a punt!Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk mickR

neg
If a standard car (bar the DSG) then it sounds very good to me, I was offered less by a dealer for my loaded R, same age but a few more miles - not many (21)
Lemar
Thank you all I have made the dealer reduce the price of the Touareg and give me a extra £500 for my golf camelsac2002
BillTheButcher
That seems like a good price. I recently got £17,500 PX for my peasant-spec 64 plate DSG with 29,000 miles on it. That was the best of five offers.
oryxgolfr
It all depends on the overall deal, car your buying, appetite of dealer to a "deal" and competition landscape....I have been given a trade in value of £19,500 for my June 2014 R with 24,500miles and minimal options (Prets, Rear Cam, Nav Pro. DSG, rear tints in Oryx) I was very surprised as it was higher than WeBuyAnyCar but they were competing against 2 other dealers. I also got very near maximum discount offered via CarWow (local dealer so worth a few quid not to have to travel...as I did for my current R...Reading to Harrogate and back! podpod
podpod
as oryxgolfr said the trade in value depends on the overal cost to change... is it a new or used Touareg ? if its a new maybe worth checking the broker prices on that model minus the cap price for your golf r. if the numbers are close to the deal you have been offered then its a good deal, JaseW
