Feels like i've smashed the sump off something or cracked a wheel but it's fine. I guess it could be hitting the bump stops. Â Â Exactly how mine is, feels like it hitting bump stops. Ready bad on little bumps. Makes them feel like pot holes!

mp2811
Sorry to hear OP having these issues. Have heard number similar issues number of times was main reason I stuck to stock springs and just added rear ARB and end links. Great set up for fast street car. Brucey106
BobbyT
Had some 19's on for a few days and randomly I feel the set up is working better now. Not sure if the extra weight is compressing the springs a little more.... I'm not a suspension expert to be fair, but it seems to have smoothed things out which doesn't really make sense to me. Both 18's and 19's running Goodyear rubber so can't be that.
ellixtt
Thats pretty bad really, I went with Eibach Pro springs but my back up choice was Emmanuel Design, after reading one too many poor reviews on VWR I steered clear. Â If I was you I would accept another pair, sell them and get some Eibach or Emmanuel Design and also sell the VWR you have fitted once off, hopefully this will offset the fitting costs. Â I really rate the Eibach springs I have on I would go with them again in a heartbeat, the drop is subtle but the performance from them is great. goodbadboy and Brucey106

Msportman
All very odd this thread. I've run my VWR springs since 2016 on a DCC equipped car including uprated 034 Motorsport ARB. No complaints whatsoever on track or road use. No clunks rattles or anything else. They are a step up in handling running flatter more stable under braking and I run a Tarox 8 pot kit and is very compliant and comfy on the road. I've run Eibach on previous cars and their Race Coils on my 16v. Great kit but there's nothing wrong with VWR springs on my car. I went springs only this time even though I track the car as I've done expensive KW Clubsportsto death and wanted to retain DCC functionality and didn't want to shell out £3k for that 9/10ths extreme handling characterIstics you get with Clubsports (Not V3's or B16 kits).  Many have been very happy with VWR springs seems odd you have had issues. And j have not signed for anything? But when they turn up I plan to do exactly what you said anyway.  1 hour ago, Msportman said: All very odd this thread. I am gutted but even my wife was shocked how bad the bump felt the other day. And over the years I have had many lowered cars, I can honestly say my nova sr that had spax on years ago felt better!! I can say that as my wife at the time had c-section with stitches and she was surprised it was painless on the way home. Gutted about the springs really. But it's going to end with a broke alloy or shock soon 😲 I have a recent set too.
Mendes
Emmanuel Design, they are perfect over bumps.. I’m in London n the bumps are extremely bad here. No crashyness! had clp st springs before & they weren’t great over bumps either. Brucey106 and goodbadboy

Perhaps you have a faulty batch or a top mount or shock gone. Broadly speaking they have sold huge numbers of these springs without issues. As said mine have been on the car since 2016 and they don't  crash over bumps as you describe on my car. Big potholes I tend to avoid where possible especially when on the 19 inch Prets. NIGEL
VWR springs with 19 inch BBS on my 7.5 R no problem at all but do have DCC. Speed bumps can be a problem but that’s the same with any set up.

Mendes
Perfect drop and stance Mendes.........Glad the ride is good on ED Springs as well as they were my 2nd choice...These are no doubt the best springs for daily use & drop, haven’t tested on track yet but seems to handle it self well around corners. I’ve got a mate with vwr springs he was happy at first but now complains they are slightly crashy as well so having experienced the ST springs I didn’t want to risk it & to be honest they are only £70odd more than the vwr..so for the sake of a few quid more I’d just go straight EmmanuelD Brucey106 and goodbadboy
