That looks really good and they did not take long to sort it. I got my car back today and they also have done a brilliant job.

I hate it when cars you look after get damaged through no fault of your own. My Cupra is going in next week as a stupid woman thought she could get passed me at lights but was obviously to close and hit the rear bumper so it has a small dent and scratches on at the moment. The first repairer quoted £450 when they looked at it but £646 when the estimate came in and they said they had relooked at it . Needless to say it is going to another repairer and I am not paying .

I am glad the scroat had insurance and you will not have to pay out for Pablo repair. I hope you will give your daughters car a Pablo clean and polish for her lending you the car . although I am sure she will keep it well looked after anyway...
-
Will your insurance get you a courtesy car as assuming the scrote wasn't insured ? some companies do.
-
Crikey Rebecca I am glad you are ok and Pablo just slightly damaged. It infuriates me that the Scrote (polite name ) think they can do this and seem to always get off lightly imo in as much as they don't have to pay for the upset, inconvenience and damage they cause and if deemed unemployable are mostly allowed to pay fines in small amounts . We were rear ended two years ago in wives car and it caused £5k+ damage (I think it was elevated as through the other parties insurance) the repairers are renowned for being expensive . I hope you can get it sorted quickly and Pablo back to it's beautiful condition. Its a pity the scrote cannot be sued to make them suffer a bit and pay for the damage but I am sure this would be against their human rights or some other bollocks . This type of event really annoys me , Sorry for ranting .

Becs Your car is stunning, even though it is coated with muck from collection. I cannot wait to see it when it is fully cleaned and polished. Glad you are pleased with it, Does your daughter and other half like it and will they get a go driving it ?
-
That has been a very quick 3 years, and Snoopy is stunning. Someone local to me has just received a new Golf R edition 20 in blue and it is Stunning , she had a black R last one and it was highly polished as will this one be as well. My Cupra Ateca is 3 in May and the time has just flown by (I couldn't afford a Tiguan R so got the next best ) and absolutely love it.

The roads in Dumfries and Galloway are shocking as well. When I report potholes on their site usual reply is an engineer will investigate and usually I get another e mail stating the crater ( as it has got bigger )is on a fix list but we cannot say when it will be repaired .
-
I just use the polish I use on the car to keep on top of wheel cleaning . Autoglym srp then extra gloss protection on top when I have time .
-
Hi Is anyone aware of dealers who may have T Roc R stock or demonstrators . Been looking but struggling to find any. Thanks
-
It looks very nice . I shouldn't ask but does your other half (via you )intend to look after it eg polishing etc to keep it looking great ?
-
I thought you would have had replies before now. Try posting on the mk6 or and mk7 boards and hopefully you will get some replies. Sorry I wasn't any help with the decision. Good Luck

Next time go faster and the bugs will disintegrate and hopefully you won't see as much spatter. hope you get it cleaned....

I use Rain Racer on the house windows , mirrors etc and it is amazing ,Used to use it on the cars as well but now have H2GO. -
As said to those with health issues look after no 1 as most companies don't care and you are just a number. I semi retired six years ago and now help my wife run her after school tuition business and absolutely love it, after working in the Ambulance service for 27 years I got early retirement as having a bad back was starting to cause issues with heavy lifting etc. Mr Camel , glad you are feeling better and enjoying life and sometimes taking it easy which is good for the mental health and wellbeing.

Are local key suppliers or locksmiths able to get the keys cheaper than dealers ? I don't know but worth a try.
-
I have a silver Cupra Ateca and like you wasn't sure but it is stunning when clean (which is not just now).
-
My neighbours son has a Tiguan R and like your one it is stunning. Hope you enjoy it.

I flashed a numptie middle lane person on the motorway and they moved into lane 1. I passed and they immediately pulled back out into middle lane again, I think some of them got their licences in lucky bags!!! I also flash for speed traps and scamera vans etc as some above.

There were food delivery cyclists in Edinburgh tonight with no lights on and dark clothing. Penicuik today at the school two young nuts on cycles straight across the road without slowing, and just looked when I peeped horn at them. Thank goodness I wasn't 30 seconds faster as at least one would be critical in hospital or deceased and not my fault.
-
Cyclists should be made wear reflective clothes as I see a lot riding wearing black tops and trousers and no lights especially at night and it scares me that if they hit me, I would be blamed even though they have dark clothes and no lights and ride like they own the road and don't care .I advised one last week they should have lights on and was told to go f&&& myself.
-
Sorry to hear you and family had to go through this , Glad you are all ok though. I would also be complaining bitterly to the top cop and anyone with authority that may be able to do anything to catch the scum (other worse names are available)

Thieving persons require hung ,drawn , and quartered or worse . Hope your daughter is ok after spotting them .

Petrol at my local shell ,unleaded is £1.79.9and I get car wash tokens when spend over £20 !! but only use it when car is really manky and the arches need power washing .
-
You could put the car on ramps and go for it with a powerwasher or see if a local detailer could do it for a small charge .
