I have finally got the Maxton body kit items fitted and had some pin striping done to match the colour scheme I wanted. We are getting close, just waiting for my TCR Street spoiler now to finish the exterior look. I don’t know if anyone else has any Maxton parts but the fitting instructions are dreadful. Even taking mine to an experienced mechanic had him scratching his head at times and some of the YouTube videos out there are just awful. Anyway, as a result the fitting cost me a few extra hours labour than I was anticipating for but I’m really pleased. It’s certainly not everyone’s cup of tea but I’m happy. When I had my R600 intake installed there wasn’t anywhere for the blanking plate to go. It wasn’t needed as all the air was channelled to the airbox so there wasn’t an option to use it. I assume the blanking plate is only needed if you are using the OEM intake. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah, seems for brand new you get stung. There are a few on eBay for £200 depending if they match the colour needed. Even still that may be a cheaper option to source and repaint. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
