Booth11
Looks very nice fogs gone sunny now i am sure you can wax it Haha! If I could, I would, but no such luck here with the fog. It was quite clear this morning but the fog has well and truly descended now. Can barely see the gate at the end of the driveway.

Booth11
Only had time for a quick wash yesterday (First one), really need to start layering the wax on very soon Absolutely lovely. Nice dreamy shot too. I'm always envious when I see a Tornado Red looking like this. It was 2 weeks before I managed to get time to put protection on mine, needs more layers (this weekend is the plan) but at least it's got some protection from the elements. What wax/sealant are you going to use?
RB2
Just stuck on my 2nd coat of swissvax best in show wax. Cracking stuff, small tin for the price but easy on and off and the bead is cracking. Much prefer it to auto finesse soul. dazie00 and Booth11

Interested in the Swisswax BIS, a friend uses it and raves about it. Most likely the next wax I will try. Agree wholeheartedly with your comment about AF wax. I tried Desire and was completely disappointed with it. I also did a comparison test over 2-3 months with it versus DJ Blue Velvet Pro and it failed to deliver big time. Still got the virtually full pot festering at the back of my detailing cupboard.
They_call_me_Big_Al
Advice please Rebecca - just purchased a pot of Do-Do Juice Orange Crush for my Tornado Red (collecting next Thursday). Is this OK to go on top of AG SRP? Also went for 5ltrs of Valet Pro snow foam.

SRP is a polish but has a bit of sealant in it too I believe, so just wax on top as you would on top of any polish and sealant. Valet Pro snow foam gives great results IMO (in conjunction with 2 bucket wash). It's the best snow foam I've used and I've tried a few. Meguiars Hyper Wash was the worst - lovely thick foam that did not a lot! It's a balance between the foam being thick enough to cling onto the car long enough to 'grab' the dirt, and thin enough to slide off the car, taking the dirt with it. Thick snow foam does not necessarily equal good. It may look impressive but if it's too thick and just sits on the paintwork, then it's useless. VP tends to be a bit thinner than some but is much more effective at shifting the dirt. Also bear that in mind when using the lance with the jet washer when making adjustments with the lance controls to get the dilution and spray right. Takes a bit of practice. Really interested to see how the Tornado Red comes with the Orange Crush and what you think of it (just like the name as much as anything, lol). Remember seeing it on someone else's red car and it looked stunning. Would you mind posting some pics up once you've waxed it please. Thanks

Booth11
Swissvax Onyx works better on black. Best for Summer, as it only lasts 2-4 weeks in British weather. I've haven't tried any Swissvax waxes yet but am inclined to think that Best of Show might be the better choice for achieving a deeper 'liquid wet look' gloss, and better for enhancing the metallic flake. I'm going to buy a panel pot first to try out and want to do a comparison with the DoDo Juice Blue Velvet. So I'll do half/half bonnet wax test. If the BOS impresses and has something over the BV, then I might splash out on a full size pot. The longevity is not a massive concern to me as I'm happy to wax regularly.
