NathR
Just wanted to say that I love having the sync button for the temperature in my Golf. It used to do my head in constantly having to change both and resetting them after the passenger had adjusted there temp. My last few cars didn't have the sync button, I can never get why it is not always there! Only a little thing but it makes me happy! ha! Booth11
I love it too. I can’t bear it if the temps are different, lol. NathR

Booth11
Just now, LouCyffer said: I like to play Aircon/Seat Heater battle. Aircon as cold as possible, Seat heater on volcanic Haha! You risk taker you! I can’t take the seat heater on 3 bars, just too hot! I usually start it off on full though then it down to setting one or two. Aircon temp all depends but it’s bloody freezing here last couple days, so it’s been set at tropical temp! The car is the warmest place to be at the moment during the day, toasty! To the point I left my ice box office today and found an excuse to drive around for a for a couple hours just to stay warm. leec
See now my inferior Skoda Octavia, auto synchronizes the temps when it starts so I don't worry. I often turn the passenger temp right down and have the driver side right up pointed at my cold feet so differences don't bother me.

Cogito
I too like to keep things in sync but don't object if a passenger prefers a different temperature. What gets my goat is when a passenger closes a vent and invariably fails to reopen it at the end of the ride. I may have mentioned previously that seat heaters make me uncomfortable regardless of setting. I remember my first encounter. It was in a friend's 1996 Oldsmobile Aurora, an overlooked semi-treasure among American upscale cars. The friend was showing off the car's features. I thought he was setting me up to sauté over medium heat. 🙂
NathR
Seems I am not the only one then, I don’t mind when the passenger wants a different setting, it just when I next get in the car alone then having to fiddle to get them the same again, pain with out the sync!!!
