That looks s lot like My last one. many years of family fun have been had in a caravan and I would recommend it although I would only tow around 100mls stay 2weeks then tow 100mls back so I was hardly a true caravaner. 🤭😆

Cogito
As a bachelor I tend to indulge my car-related interests with automotive-themed holidays. In July I'll join some like-minded buddies on an encore version of the 8 state, 10 museum, 2 car show Midwest excursion from last summer. This year we'll focus a few days in Detroit, including a tour of the Ford Rouge plant (we'll also visit the Toyota assembly line near Lexington, Kentucky), plus museums in Michigan and Indiana, a collector car show in Wisconsin, and a heavy-duty truck jamboree in Iowa. The first week in October invariably finds me at the huge classic car show in Hershey, Pennsylvania, as has been the case for 35+ years. Please don't scoff too much to hear that rented minivans have proved overwhelmingly to be the best vehicles for these trips. The image may be a bummer, but for mostly Interstate driving involving lots of friends, luggage, and paraphernalia, their versatility is unmatched. MK_Turmeric
Next official holiday is a road trip from Essex to Northern Ireland with the R to cycle around Lough Neagh. My partner is a long-haul pilot at BA so holidays end up being work trips away with him. Pilot life gets dull after a while.
Patrick
I've only been to Europe and the longest flight was to Stockholm, Sweden for work. Done France and Austria for snowboarding up in the alps. When we went to Austria we flew to Germany and drove down and what a drive it was! Plan is to trade the mountains for beaches in Jan '19, heading to Dominican for a friends wedding. Not looking forward to the flight though 😅.
