Beading

I have been spending some time reading through lots of Detailing World threads and posts and reviews and it's making me understand the logical and methodical approach towards detailing you must have if you want to succeed. My approach of wanting to try everything in such a short space of time is terribly wrong and I'm now understanding exactly what's what and the order of tasks!

Logical and Methodical approach is the key to good detailing. Patience is also a blessing when it comes to detailing.  Trying lots of things in a short space of time doesn't allow you to properly observe the qualities/behaviour of the product - assess its strengths and weaknesses in various conditions, that takes the passage of a period of time. And sometimes there is a conflict between products, which can skew things.  Often stated on here, but less is often more.  Glad you are finding DW helpful.

Looks immaculate Dan! Wheels too :afro:

Thank you very much! I'm very pleased.

On closer inspection I appear to have missed a few spots deep inside the front wheel!!!

After me going on earlier in another thread about how easy it is to clean the cadiz's I must overlooked the inners on this one. little embarrassed I missed that one!!

It's quite hypnotic stood in rain watching the little beads on the roof wiggling then merging into bigger, and bigger beads before they get too heavy and zoom...

I find myself craning forward over the steering wheel sometimes watching the beads rush over the bonnet as I drive off. They glide at such speed it's quite astonishing.

Although I should probably be keeping my eyes on the road ahead instead...!

Love watching beading merge before giving way to the inevitable and sliding sublimely off the car.

I do this too, and it amazes me how long some beads can cling on wobbling all over, but still staying unbroken, until the speed gets the better of them and off they shoot!  Is it sad that the first thing I do as I approach the car (when it's been raining) is look forward to seeing what the beading will be like.  :embarrassed:
