TurboTrev
I was looking at these smoked dynamics for £20.51 - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/355619596459?fits=Car+Make%3AVW|Plat_Gen%3AMK+VIII|Model%3AGolf&_skw=vw+golf+mk8+mirror+indicators&itmmeta=01JQ728RV02SAXTDRRWFSY7AQ6&hash=item52cc9468ab:g:zfEAAOSwOt5mFT1a&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAAA4FkggFvd1GGDu0w3yXCmi1eJ9zT9VEqZMJMwyM7nZZhvfOwm%2BG3laM%2Fj%2BXKAdeUL81nY88rbCfLOGHx6ZdaSA8scAArA5TLrxj8ZUv14XyGHn4JT40NJ7304cA6cYBvPqpaL6NajJ9EjfVTztodzfDH1gZ9r%2F6RN8K2WDE9SEQPfAMYlqMsvhXn3jpYL6PyZJmIpe%2FJiS1lHthrrK7SD%2FjA1hkQTEdhUvsJ6tMiFg594FUC%2BEl%2BEcYKpJxPmXhu8%2BDVr5UfAAv07CehDXCDBJyzR66AjYjQ3A4ki1CVeoE9A|tkp%3ABk9SR9yNo-K5ZQ
AHG
It would look cool if that bright stripe would disappear when the blinkers are not used … Oh, man, this forum is always making me spend money. Bad, bad forum 🙂
scuderiafolene
Well. 9" 245/40 contisport7 is pushing it. lol This is clearance with 5mm spacer. Would not recommend running it on the street. Rears, with 10mm spacer cause with 5 they where rubbing and without they cant fit. It will be 10mm all around cause fronts are bit wee tight to my liking. All on standard suspension, and if you pick/picked DCC you see the valve on the middle picture being danger close. Less stress on the glass when pulling with the suction cup👍 I have used fingers, fingers and trim tool and trim tool with suction cup. The later is so much easier and safer👍👍 also much easier to replace the mirror using the suction cup👌

As mentioned before I'm running 245 35 19 on 8” with no spacer and it's a little closer to dampers than with 235 but not that much, In theory a half a centimeter closer. I'll try take some pics tomorrow so we can compare. scuderiafolene

Its interesting that it can be purchased pre-painted too, which makes the whole thing easier. Can you elaborate on how simple it was to fit? Is the old one simply bolted on or is there any adhesive involved? And new one is a direct swap with no faff required to make it fit? Pretty easy to do really, probably took 30 minutes. Followed the video here: It's a complete bolt on replacement, completely replaces the standard spoiler, so no adhesive needed. Just 5 nuts, 2 bolts and a bunch of trim clips scuderiafolene and JoeGTI7

Booth11
As per the detailing purchase thread…. Decided it was time to upgrade my ageing Metrovac car dryer, as the car dryer game has moved on in the last 10 years with much more powerful models around now. Narrowed it down to between the Blo Air-GT and the Rokit Resolution 2. Decided to go for the Rokit as it’s slightly better on CFM/CFM than the Blo, but otherwise they are much the same. chillly, Nighthawk and AHG
