Headlight chrome removal

Hi, has someone removed/wrapped that silver stripe inside headlight? In a mk7r

Is it easy to do?

It’s possible but by no mean easy as it requires complete disassembly of the headlights @samx300 had it done.

Splitting the headlights is a very tricky and expensive (if you pay someone). Even after I thought it was all done and dusted, I had a leak on one of them and they had to be resealed. Check my Instagram for all the work I had done on mine and contact Trups at EM Tuning should you want to proceed. In my case the difference in output was immense and I managed to retain the AFS functionality.
