After CS45 we shouldn’t really have expected anything much really. As I see it we (or VW) have a couple of more changes (which is maybe why CS45 & R20 are so subdued) to I blow our socks off. 50th Anniversary of Golf in 2024. Surely they are saving big guns for this year. Facelift time as well? I just hope the 20Y UK spec will be a bit better that what we've seen so far. Like you say, I'm also surprised there is no Akra. I would want that, DCC and a reversing camera at the very minimum, so I suppose it depends on what price it will be with the extras that I want to add and whether the discount level will be similar to my current order. The trouble is there have been two price increases since my order, so the 20Y might not make financial sense, my head will rule my heart, because I have to draw a financial line somewhere! dopper99 Posted May 21, 2022 Report Share Posted May 21, 2022 Looking at an older price list I see the Clubsport 45 was £2800 over a normal Clubsport. Apply the same price increase to an R and that would make it £45000. And someone on here said all the prices are going up in June, so it could maybe be £46000 or more without options.
