  1. I’m doing mine on the 42 month 1.9% deal. It’s cheap money
  2. My GR Yaris has just gone into build now, hopefully March delivery [emoji1696][emoji1696]
  3. I’ve just ordered one too. I’ve gone for flat white though because I’m tight and it’s easier to touch in the inevitable stone chips.
  4. I don’t think they’re a handful in the bends, far from it. In the wet - different story.
  5. I’ve just been caught speeding. I don’t like driving any more [emoji35][emoji35][emoji35][emoji35][emoji35]
  6. I had a small black and decker hoover a couple of years ago that worked off the 12v power in the car. Very similar thing - bought it from Halfords. It was useless, and I can’t imagine this will be any better
  7. I’ve only done 200 miles, still got 800 to go [emoji22][emoji22]. I was trying to get it ran in quickly as I was due to go to the Nürburgring in April, but they’ve closed the track now until after we were due to go.
  8. I liked the TCR, but for some reason, every time I buy a VW I end up selling it to get a Mercedes. 3 times now [emoji848] I think you’re probably right about the chrome switches, they look a bit like plastic wrapped in tin foil, I guess time will tell on their quality. The overall quality feels better than my last one, but as I’d said in an earlier post, I had no complaints with that one. The extra cost over the TCR is about £25k which is a lot considering they’re both small hot hatches - but I do think the performance of the 45 has moved on a lot. I’m certain it would’ve given my 911 a run for its money, certainly to 100mph, and my old C63 (2012) wouldn’t see which way went. I’m an easy please though. I’ve genuinely liked all the cars I’ve ever owned. I don’t think there are any ‘bad’ cars anymore, so you pay your money and take your choice. And as long as I can afford to, I’ll keep making bad financial choices [emoji1787][emoji1787]
  9. I had no issues with my 15 plate - owned from new I had it 2 years and was my favourite car. I know some people had issues with rattles, but I didn’t. The new one, as you say, is much much nicer inside - the tech is fantastic, but I must admit there’s too many configurations to play with that it all gets a bit distracting.
  10. I’m running it in as per the manual which means only comfort mode, max 4500 rpm and max 85 mph so not much sound from exhausts anyway. The demo on the other hand which was driven mercilessly sounded ok in my opinion, a massive improvement on the noise the TCR made.
  11. No real reason. I always knew I’d have a look at it and as soon as I’d been in the demo I was sold. My last A45 was probably my favourite car - don’t know why I sold it. This one is better!! [emoji7][emoji7]
  12. The TCR has gone. Long live the A45
  13. I may have done something involving a Mercedes A45 S Plus [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]
  14. I just used a hairdryer and then tar remover. They were very very well stuck on and left loads of glue residue. It was a bit of a ball ache to do but looks loads better without the decals I think.
  15. I’ve sold many cars on PCP to traders/dealers. They just pay the settlement off and give me the difference.
  16. I doubt you could get the car cheaper any other way?? £5400 a year will surely be cheaper than the depreciation if you bought outright. Assuming you don’t intend to keep for the long term!!

Yes they’re lovely. I’d imagine they’ll be the quickest way to lose £50k in depreciation though [emoji1787][emoji1787]
  18. Or the arse might fall out of the market and it might be worth £15k
  19. Sorry, ignore this, just reread the original post - no keyless entry [emoji2361]
  20. Carefully [emoji1787]. I had the same problem. You’ve got to get you hands right at the back near the rubber pegs and try to push the the release clips back as you gently push the glove box back in. Make sure you have the pegs in the right way round too as I put them in back to front the first time.
  21. You can disable the keyless entry, but you have to do it each time you lock the car. It’s dead easy. Just lock the car with the button on the key, then touch the door sensor within 5 seconds - that disables keyless entry and you’ll have to use the key to unlock the car next time. You’ll ha e to repeat this process every time you want keyless disabled.
  22. I’m massively tempted to go for one of these. But I just won’t do it at £58k
  23. Why do you think the M2 will be more winter friendly than the GT4?
  24. I had Cup 2’s on mine. I’m sure they’d be amazing in the summer, but they were terrible in cold damp conditions. I’ve got PS 4s on now and it’s transformed the car for me.
