they look great ! they sit really nicely I'm thinking of ordering a set myself . did you need new wheel bolts or were the standard ones ok ? thanks -
another thread on the age old problem of damaged diamond cut alloys i had to have 2 fronts repaired last year which proved quite expense , i've recently kerbed another wheel , this time on rear , just the edge but obviously the whole face woould need re-cutting to match due to the depth of the damage to be honest i'm getting pretty sick of the diamond cut finish and the cost of repairs so am considering getting new wheels and selling my current 18 inch cadiz wheels or maybe keeping them as winters ? so the eternal question is do i go 18 inch or 19 ? do i get genuine VW or are aftermarket best ? kinda want to stay VW as i know the offset and centre bore will be perfect match ,but i'm open to advice , so what are your thoughts and experiences? any photos of aftremarket wheels are more than welcome as it may help my final decision

same , wish genuine ones weren't so expensive though !

i've just ordered the £10 ones too

i've been told refurbing twice is the limit then the wheel is scrap ,i guess it all depends on how much material is removed from the wheel to get below the level of the damage

Identical one in my local dealer, had a good look around when my R was in for a service, looks good in the flesh, especially with the gloss black wheels and mirrors

Not supposed to repair screens in the black banding around the edge, they tend to crack either as you drill the repair or push the resin in under pressure speaking from experience

My first cars were all small underpowered cars by today’s standards, nova SR’s , GTE’s etc. they were fun to drive without going that fast, hope the Up Gti is going to be the same

hi , been lurking here for a while, finally decided to sign up i've got a 2105 torndao red 3 door thats 3 years old in april , the issue i have is that i work in the motortrade and looking at vw's warranty website i am uneligible to extend the warranty of my vehicle is it even worth extending the warranty anyway ? i've had the car over a year now and its on 22, 500 miles with no issues would going with a 3rd party be the solution and has anyone had any dealings with any ?
