Been nearly 2 weeks since my 5b, starting to go mad checking Marine Traffic every 5mins to see which car carriers are en route to the UK from Emden... VW7R Posted March 6, 2015 Report Share Posted March 6, 2015 Mine was confirmed BW10 - called VWCS Tuesday morning and the car is built and en route to Emden to board a ship to Sheerness. Apparently there's a 10-day delay at Emden due to all the 15' plates waiting to make their way across but luckily no delay reported at Sheerness (not sure how long it will sit there without delays?!) My car is at the dealers, it's almost ready, I have a registration number and and Tuesday midday I can fetch it. Was hoping to as last time I spoke to VW was unconfirmed week 14 but had nothing yet I have just been confirmed build week 14 but ordered back in OCT about time !!!!! But I'm waiting for my BMW which was sold on last Tuesday to come off finance so I can complete on the new one. BMW say it takes 10 days. Can do without this potential hold up.
