I thought they were respected for procedures and their quality products but it all seems a great chaotic sham to me! Car will be at dealers on Monday and I'm collecting Wednesday afternoon so not too worried by the tracker throwing a "wobbly" this morning. My timetable was as follows if it helps anyone : Car Ordered through CVL (on lease deal) on 6th October 2014 Given March 2015 as approximate delivery month and a build week of around 7/8 Stage 2 Text : 7th November 2014 Stage 3 Text: 16th January 2015 Stage 5a Text: 15th Feb 2015 Stage 5b Text: 17th Feb 2015 Stage 5c Text: 19th Feb 2015 Stage 6 Text : 21st Feb 2015 Signed & emailed back finance Docs : 26th Feb 2015 Stage 7 Text: 3rd March 2015 Picked up : 6th March 2015 (or I could have had it delivered to my home around 17th March !!) gazzab Posted March 7, 2015 Report Share Posted March 7, 2015 Ordered 28/10/14 stage 2 text 29/11/14 build week estimates from vwcs ranging from bw 6 to bw 14 and now slipped to bw 15 assume delivery 2 months away ie mid May ie 7 months in total! Relatively basic spec as well. Stage 3 text expected 14/3/15 a very trying process and a process / communication method not fit for purpose from VW. Picking my Lapiz 3 door up from there on tuesday It was a fairly basic and quick handover ! The car was parked outside near the entrance, so I had a good look over it before entering the dealer. Luckily it was sunny and I could see it all looked OK. Not that well prepped though. If it was raining I'd not have been so happy. I went into the dealers and waited 5-10 minutes for someone from the fleet department to come down. Straight to the car and then it was a 5 minute chat going over the new features (ACC, Electronic Handbrake etc). They paired my iPhone with the Bluetooth and asked to see my insurance cover. Then I was off ! Everything seemed in order - R keys, Mats, Audio leads, half tank of fuel etc Good luck with your pickup didn't see yours. Have you had a 5a or 5b update yet? Based on the experiences on here, a car can sit at Emden from anything from 1 day to nearly 1 month before getting on a boat. Mine is a week behind his and going to the same dealership. We ordered days apart so almost mirroring each other. It will be interesting to see if we get put on the same boat. We were both BW9.
