Yeah,  and it also cascades down over the rear doors after heavy rain if you open a door  !!!  .   My poor dad found this out after opening the rear door and getting out of the car ... the run off literally soaked him 😁😁

Your poor dad!  💦 😁

Beading after last nights torrential downpour.

Always the way after just cleaning the car.

Yes, after my posts earlier this week we are into a week of thunderstorm's and big hail.  The rain is disappointment * in that it compromises the clean car, but the beading is strangely really satisfying!!

I bet you get some spectacular thunderstorms.  Hope the hail isn’t too big and not a rush to the car.

Hail much less common here, but, you can pretty much expect rain as soon as you’ve cleaned the car  but some lovely beading is the upside, assuming the car has some good hydrophobic protection on it.  Flat beads don’t count!  😁

It’s still pouring here today (had thunder this morning) but I shouldn’t moan as the more rain we get, the better for an end to the hosepipe ban, although I think that’ll run into 2023.  😢

As usual, after a wash comes the rain, but that means beading galore!   Beady goodness on Gyeon Wax.
........

I don't mind it raining just after a wash and clean,  but hate having to drive it on wet roads with all the spray that undoes all your good work in a few minutes 🥲😧

We’ve got over 100mm plus storms and hail on Sunday. Good time to stay home and detail the interior!

Currently en route to the Lakes through a few hundred miles of rain (and sun) so good work well and truly undone!  🙁 😄

What do you use to get those high quality beads?

Car was waxed mid October with Gyeon Wax which is holding up really well still, but on Sunday I topped it up with a coat of Gyeon WetCoat after washing the car, so nicely refreshed and gives some lovely micro beading.
