Sorry for the slight hijack but I am looking to. I had my eye on this matron spoiler http://www.maxtondesign.eu/produkt/golf-vii/spoiler-extension-vw-golf-mk7-r.html but they have a different one for the 7.5. Is there any reason this wouldn't fit the 7.5? Has anybody tried or is their a difference to the rear wing on the 7.5 thanks

I got my driving licence off the back of a box of corn flakes, just had to cut it out.....

Had my car over 6 months now, nearly chopped it in for something else but decided it wasn't worth it so might treat myself to some upgrades. One of which is lowering and the Eibach's seem bang on for what I am looking for and price isn't bad either. Where are you guys getting them fitted and how much should I expect to pay? Cheers

Can't say I have heard the computer noises from mine just some good old fashioned pings and ticking noises as it cools down after being thoroughly excercised

Looking at selling my Golf R, apart from we steal any car and Evans Halshaw has anybody got recommendations of a Dealer group who offer good money for cars? Need to move quickly so privately isn't really an option. THanks

Don't know what it is but it just has to be done. It gets me every time even if I am "trying" to do an eco run ( when the fuel rate doesn't cover your fuel cost sometimes you need to be a bit sensible especially when your office is nearly a 400 mile round trip) .

This has been my biggest disappointment with my R and it is an important feature to me as i travel around quite a bit with work. Had I realised how bad it was it would have swung my purchasing decision and I wouldn't have bought the R

been trying to work this out can't find an answer how do I select sport transmission when using reverse?

It will be back to BMW for me, I am regretting not taking the M2 my local dealer offered me. Took the R because it was cheaper ( not sure it will end up that way when I chop it in earlier than planned though ). I am finding the tech in golf too clunky and not very intuitive, miss having the I drive controller and don't like having everything touch screen. And then there s the small matter of 6 vs 4 cylinders and associated noise.
