I will put out a carefully worded moan letter to VW to see if I can get a "goodwill gesture", there's no way that adding a different set of wheels at a later point (still well away from locked-in build week) should reset the order process. My BW was not affected apart from starting at I think 2, going to 4 and then settling on 7. But both of you have ordered Lapiz with major BW delays. Perhaps they have run out of paint as it is such a common/popular colour! Yeah, I could probably get it quicker with Tartan paint! As Lapiz is an R exclusive colour, they probably have to dedicate a paint booth occasionally in campaigns to get the Lapiz ones out, not enough volume for a completely dedicated booth.
