I took mine for a longer spirited drive the other day. Manual keeps it in manual(unless start/stop hits, then its S). Have a trackday 15th may and will put more stress on the car then, but other then that no issues with gearbox.

However. I hear ALOT of wind noises in 160km/h+ speeds. On driver side, but you know, the left of the car ;). Do you guys have passengers complaining about wind noise? Its coming from the mirror - door. Had a tyre issue so couldnt test more.

Check your pressure people :)

Was that a result of your spirited drive?!  Is that the 245/40 Conti tyre you recently fitted?  What pressures are/were you running?  Hope you and the car all ok.  How’s the wheel?

I’ve not had any issues with the paddles when in manual mode either but always expecting it.

What even happened here? You ok? Car ok?

Yeapp. 15min old tyres :( All good! Nothing too dramatic. I was running 2.6 bar cold. After that its kind of a mystery but I must have run something over during the commute to work, lost some pressure during the drive and well. I am clueless how this happend TBH. I have an amazon TPMS and low pressure warning sounded before VW´s own. Pulled over and had a puncture. Re-inflated and then saw the bulbs and thats it. Wall damage on both sides. Limped to a nearby parking lot and swapped back to OEM wheels after work. So if you have heavy vibrations/shaking in the wheel check the tyres and dont wait for the TPMS.

All good I think. Well, a new tyre ordered but car feels fine. Rim "looks" straight but will have to take it to a shop to check. 2.6 bar seems to little for street. Lesson learned.

Well, glad you and the car are relatively unscathed! Hopefully the wheel is ok when the tire shop checks it out.

Coming from a S3 the Golf has much more wind noises.

Same for Tiguan vs Q3, BTW.

As per your tyre, that seems like a manufacturing defect.

Can’t imagine a puncture causing that and I ran with 10psi under due to punctures and just pumped air up and drive to shop to fix.

Maybe I’m paranoid but I’d have a hard time trusting this tyre (if fixed) and the other 3 that came with it.

Oh. Havent driven the Q3 but that makes sense. Maybe thicker windows, who knows.

I have made a complaint but I doubt they will honour it. Maybe its the pressure combined with the uneven road surface and a defect - I really couldnt tell. Will take some picture when we take it off.

This exact tyre is a goner. There is no coming back for it. The other 3 look "ok" but will have the shop remove and rebalance them aswell just to be sure so inside wall isnt cracking.

Personally I would chuck them all away after such distortion.

But I may be hysterical.

Just like to have tyres in tip top condition, as I see them as the single most important part in the car (for safety).

And why is your Tiguan sad ?

I quite like driving with the current speed limit available to see in front of me.  The Dynamic Road Sign Assist should do this.  Mine doesn't.  I drove 150 miles today, along the A11, a dual-carriageway and my car said the speed limit was 5mph, sometimes 10mph, 20, 30 and all points up to 60mph, seemingly chosen at random.  Never 70mph.  I'd get messages saying the system was out of range or otherwise out to lunch and then it would say 5mph with an exclamation mark.  Bonkers.  And the map never knew where we were.  This would be funny if it wasn't so annoying. And actually quite dangerous.

If the map doesn't know where you are, you have an online connectivity problem, which is also why the current speed is not displaying correctly.

I think this is the source of the issue

The traffic sign recognition works in fusion mode, so it gets camera data but as mentioned above it relies more heavily on GPS and map data, and I think if it thinks you are off road it says 5mph.

did you try Waze via CP/AA ?
It also has speed limit shown

Is it also what my or does it show real limit ?

Yes, the Waze system works very well, far better than VW's sat nav.  But on the return journey we had our phone switched off and after about ten miles the Road Sign thing started to go bonkers.  And the map didn't think we had reached Newmarket when in fact it was several miles behind us.  Hey ho.   Had a nice chat with a guy  at our lunchtime pub complimenting me on the car and then another guy drooling over my Leica. I must get out more.

Noticed a minor glitch.

When starting the car to defrost/demist.

If I get out to open my gates with my phone, the car loses connection and won't reconnect.

You have to reboot the system for it to reconnect properly again.

Looking back it's done this since the day I picked it up.

That’s annoying and you’d expect it to just reconnect when you return to the car.   But to avoid it, just leave your phone in the car whilst you open your gates?

There is a specific spot on my route from home into town wherever my my phone loses connection and most of the time it will automatically reconnect within seconds, but every now and then it just won’t and I have to reboot it.

Yeah that what I'll be doing from now onwards.

Today just confirmed my theory.

Think I had similar on a route I took the other day too.

It's only minor, it's not the end of the world doing a reboot to rectify it I guess. Would be nice if VW had a portal to log minor issues. Although I'd imagine they'd get bombarded with daft stuff too.
