Six pots?

Indeed 🙂 I’ve also got a set of TTRS 8 pots with OEM 370mm discs, but they required at least a 10mm spacer with these BBS CH-R (calipers and discs will be for sale if anyone is after some).

The Alcon/Revo 6 pots only need a 7mm spacer, so I’m giving the arches a very gentle roll this week to accommodate that. I’m currently using 5mm spacers down about 20mm with zero rub. So I’m quite optimistic that I can get it all working in harmony! 🤞🏻

Do those fit 18” wheels or do you have to go 19/20 to fit those ?

This 380mm version might fit some 18s such as Revo’s own wheels and Team Dynamics, but you have to be careful of placement of wheel weights.

I’m running 19s (BBS CH-R 19x8.5 et48 with 5mm spacers) and my issue is spoke clearance. I sussed out (using a template) that they might just clear with the current 5mm, but I played it safe and I’ve got some 7mm spacers to go on.

I got the calipers in red as I’ve already got red calipers all round. Looks decent against the Rising Blue. These brakes are made by Alcon, they’re the CAR97 caliper, but branded by Revo, hence ‘Revo by Alcon’.

I’ve already done the 335mm VBT rear upgrade, also with J hooks, so it should match the new fronts nicely.

They also do a 355mm version with the same calipers, but the 380mm kit just had to be done!

Sold it 😔, but for a reasonable amount more than I paid for it exactly two years ago 😁.

I know it's all related to what your purchasing if your trading in against a different car, but my jaw nearly hit the floor when he offered a couple of thousand more for it than when I purchased it.

Is this just down to the funny times we're living in at the moment, and the bubble will burst as soon as parts shortages ends?

Just looking forward to collecting the replacement now, the days are going to drag by!

That’s an offer that’s hard to refuse!  Sorry to see you’ve parted ways with your R but looks a very nice replacement!   Enjoy it!

It is indeed down to the combination of things atm. I was lucky in that I sold my car when prices were rising on my R (I got £3,500 more for it this year than what it was worth last year!) and that I happened to find its replacement at a great price. I’ve had my car for two months now and I’m being offered £2,600 more than what I paid for it. This problem isn’t going away anytime soon - I think it won’t ease until 2023 - that’s when chip and semi conductor production will be back to it’s pretty pandemic levels…..hopefully! It’s not just affecting cars either. There’s going to be lots of disappointed kids at Christmas when they don’t get their games consoles, PCs and mobile phones will probably be in short supply, I know of one chap who has had to buy secondhand trucks because Scania aren’t taking any orders for new trucks of the type he wants atm - thankfully, I don’t think it’s going to affect delivery of our two new cranes next month - one of which is mine!
