LouCyffer
Treated the car to four new Michelin PS4S tyres. The old PS3s did well for five years, rears still with 5mm on, but the sidewalls were looking tired. Roll on springtime. The snow fell an hour after I got home. Couldn’t help but wonder if I should have gone for Crossclimate 🤣 GZOLA25, SpursMadDave, Penguin and 1 other
GasMk7.5
My Eibach Pro Kit springs have arrived in the mail so they will be going on soon. I promised myself I'd keep my 2020 Golf R Stock but that plan is slowly failing. Awaiting my Sprintbooster in the mail which I picked up for a steal second hand so keen to see how it performs alongside the JB4. I'm also exploring a stage 2 Revo tune... But not sure I want to flash tune yet but will have to wait and see. BobbyT

The piano black trim will always show marring, particularly the b pillars due to high contact (closing the doors) I always get mine machine polished then covered with clear Xpel ultimate PPF. Wht do you use on all of your shiny black trim and especially the B pillar black area by the glass? They tend to easily swirl? Haha, thanks. I use a clear coating or sealant on all the exterior gloss black trim rear, front and the B pillars. On the 8R I used Gyeon Q2 Trim when I first detailed it from new. It’s fared well over the last year but is looking ready for a fresh application, which I’ll do at Easter detail when I’ll machine polished all the gloss black trim using the Rupes iBrid nano polisher I got for Christmas. I tend to polish B pillars once a year as they always pick up swirls being plastic, and being in that prominent location. The rest of the gloss black trim is prone to swirling for same reason but it’s actually holding up better than I thought it would, but of course a careful wash and dry technique goes a long way to keeping swirls at bay, especially touchless pre washes and use of a blow dryer on those areas. PPF of course is many a persons solution but I’m not one for PPF, I see the value of it but just not my thing.
