Wheel spacers and side skirts fitted on Monday 😎 and the weather is to be crystal clear on Tuesday so I'll get better pics up. 

 

The bow looks great!  It’s a good way to dress up the new car for the collection ceremony, without covering it with the full ‘Ready to go home’ cover (greater risk of scratches all over the bodywork) and since the majority of it is on the windscreen much less risk to paint.

I can honestly say I love all 3 colours and I would not be unhappy with one or the other and I can't tell you the amount of times I look at the different colours and think maybe I should have gone Blue this time, or maybe I should have gone white this time 😂

Update: after a mammoth polishing and cleaning session, I didn't manage to get everything I wanted done but it still looks stunning, I had a lot of positive remarks from my neighbours including the obligatory " you can do mine if you want".

 

Sadly I found what I think is an imperfection in the paint on the roof, and a scratch on the gloss black diffuser so ive sent an email with pics also included the driver seat bolster indentations to see what they have to say.

 

I hope you guys are enjoying your cars. 😊

 

P.S. thanks for the recommendation of the carbon collective buckets @Booth11 they are great!

Absolutely stunning!  Fantastic work Leon.

 

Sorry to hear about the imperfection on the roof and the scratch on the diffuser, you often only get to notice some things when you get up close and personal with the car yourself.  What type of imperfection is it on the roof?

Thanks I'm pleased with the result.

 

It looks like a piece of paint sticking up but at the base the paint looks melted. See pic attached.

 

I did think the buckets were pricey but they are top quality and the guards are amazing I had the cheap crap ones that keep falling apart before.

Agreed re all 3 colours being good but... I'd like a silver or red to choose from too. I know red is more a gti colour but I love red cars 😍

That rear spoiler looks stunning and really finishes the car off perfectly, in any colour.👍🏻

Kind of looks like a blob of clearcoat that’s adhered and been pulled.  Let us know what they say but I shouldn’t think that would be too difficult to rectify (in the hands of a good bodyshop or detailer.

I love seeing red cars but never want one (same with white).  Tornado Red was a great colour on the mk7s, but I hate the current Kings Red.  Reflex Silver was another sublime colour but sadly discontinued.  As was White Silver. It would be nice to have more colours offered but at the same time a more difficult decision to make.  If Atlantic Blue had been offered I’d still be trying to make my mind up between that and Lapiz.

Thanks I couldn't justify the cost of Performance Pack on my MK8 so I've wanted the spoiler since I specced that in 2021 so I'm really happy the BE comes with Performace Pack. 👍🏻

I must admit if I could have chosen any colour I would have liked a Tornado Red Black Edition.

The bow was nice tbh, told them do not put a cover over the car 😂 purely for they reasons

I completely agree 👍🏼 I do love the Red I was looking at a red GTD when I bought the 8R
