P85144 is the correct pads for R and performance Gti The area of the disc that's untouched maybe just that they haven’t bedded in properly yet. Lots if people complain of rattling aftermarket pads, usually the spring clips top and bottom stop this though.

Although Tapatalk doesn’t work something has changed because I’m now getting some notifications through Tapatalk.

Using windows 10 I successfully updated my R and the wife’s gtd on Thursday no problem.

To be honest I find the new look much more user friendly and if that’s the way the forum needs to be viewed that’s fine. Thanks to all mods and Gaz for your efforts and taking the time to resolve this.

Was pretty sure when I ordered my top mounts and bearings they came in Febi/Bilstein packaging

Pretty sure Febi is actually Bilstein so quality is usually excellent.

I should add when I fitted my Koni dampers and eibach springs I used Febi top mounts and bearings and they’ve been perfect

Have a feel at the bottom of the front spring and make sure they’ve transferred the little rubber spring seats over. Also make sure the end of the spring is right up to the locating peg on the bottom

Yeah wheels protrude on the front too much. Running this setup is equivalent to running a 16mm spacer with a Pretoria. When I ran 11mm with the Pretoria wheel that was perfect in terms of sticking out. Just listed them in classifieds.

Today I painted my original brake calipers as I’m going to remove my Macan calipers as with the R360 wheel and spacer it’s just too much. Its been a tough decision on what to sell between wheels and calipers but since I won’t be tracking the car I’ve chosen to sell my calipers.

I recently replaced the batteries on our gtd and my R with the Bosch. My R was EFB but changed it fleece

I run with my Lane assist on, not the dynamic setting as that drags you around something terrible. I keep mine on for travelling home after 12 hour night shifts just in case I was to doze off. Using vcds or obdeleven you can reduce the intensity of the assistance.

From memory you Apr shouldn’t flash the high torque stage 2 map without an intercooler. Even when I ran stage 1 Apr high torque map there was quite a noticeable difference in performance with an intercooler fitted. As I and others have said if you have Apr stage 2 high torque your never left wanting more. Do you know what map you have? High torque or lower? If you don’t have high torque map then I’d opt for a good quality intercooler and have the map updated.

I run the Revo mount which is the best for a daily driver in my opinion.

So if your Apr stage 2 your car has an aftermarket downpipe fitted then?

Don’t think he’s had it taken off. More trying to get the car to run properly without any errors on the software they installed. Having had Apr stage 2 on my previous R I certainly didn’t feel it was all or nothing, I’d go as far to say that Apr is about the best software you’ll get for this platform. Are you sure you don’t have a car issue causing your issue?

Really appreciate your efforts on this. If things don’t work out with Tapatalk then me and others will just need to get in the habit of using the website. Probably more that nobody likes change instead of an actual problem using the website. Thanks again 👍🏻

Yeah still not working for me either. As much as the mods hate it, I think it’s very user friendly and generally works well. Hope your able to get it working again as the browser format is a ballache compared. Good luck 👍🏻
