Philgr
Not quite a full detail, but I gave my car it’s first ever wash, and removed the glue from the transport covers, thankfully found no marks or swirls on the paintwork. Gave it a quick spray with some IronX, surprising how much contam was present on a week old car Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Booth11
.Griff.
Second time this week.. Seems like I wash it and by the time I reach the end of the road it's filthy again. Cossieian and Pinky1959

Big.h
Gave it a much needed wash today took some elbow grease to get the dirt off. Two bucket method using zymol shampoo, 1 coat of generic crappy wax as a base then a coat of poor boys ex-p sealant I ran out of light and weather after that. gazza5
Had a spare hour so gave mine a quick wash today, hasn't been done since October. Seem to struggle with snow foam, I don't seem to get much dirt off, pics below Dirt level Quick snow foam Dirt level after snow foam Final result after 2 bucket method and dried Ignore the black marks where some1 hit my car, not had it repaired yet. Looks great! On the snow foam impact (lack of) - if you haven't washed since October, hardly surprising as that stuff can be hard to shift- and that may be one of those occasions to hit it with something stronger. options might be: 1. stronger existing SF solution (with hot water dilute) 2. different SF with more bite (Bilt Hamber and Gyeon come to mind). 3. My choice would be to use a pre wash spray prior to SF (or instead) Auto Finesse Citrus Power, VP Citrus Prewash, or Bilt Hamber AF as pre wash 50:50 in pump sprayer. All these will give a harder soak to dried-on crud and associated RTF build up. Leave either for longer than might normally (without letting it dry out). Hot water in your mixes will help. Also one of those occasions when washing car when it is already soaked from weather, can help. ...I'd use just a bit of compound on those black marks on paint too - just to fade them out whilst you await repairs. I used Valet Pro citrus pre wash, tbh I haven't been overly impressed with it, maybe I dilute it too much think this time I did 1:4, or maybe my pressure washer just isn't very strong, but I have never really got lots of dirt off, not sure if types of water can affect snow foam, we have quite hard water where I am, no idea if that plays a part or not. I have nearly finished it so maybe I will try the Gyeon stuff, see if that's any better. I left the snow foam for about 10 minutes, although it wasn't hot I was a bit worried it would dry out in the sun and go a bit streaky on glass etc. I think i used the snow foam neat once, but it was too thick - almost like whipped cream.
