Having said that did give it a little {cough} blast up an on ramp to the M25. Maximum grin factor and a licence looser without question. I would second the F3000, although it was the first car we drove on the day, so I would enjoy it more next time with a bit more of an idea of what it could do. Dan_G Posted September 5, 2019 Report Share Posted September 5, 2019 Fastest 2 cars I've owned and driven. BMW M3 E92 6spd that I fitted an ESS VT1-550 supercharger kit to. The kit gave 550bhp and removed the speed limiter, its a car that just kept pulling and pulling. It was delimited and the standard gearing is just over 190mph. (I once did silly mph while overtaking an FQ360 that decided to bait me, needless to say I regretted it straight away knowing I'd have been chucked in prison had I been caught by the plod) BMW M5 F10 DSG - bog standard 560bhp - stupidly quick 2 tonne car. Absolutely astonishing, from a rolling start it pulled equally as hard as my brothers GTR... shame he didn't still have it at the time for a race. Traction on both BMW's was rubbish on anything but bone dry roads with warm tyres. Not this thread but the scariest was my Supra TT RZ Auto. 320bhp with Sequential twin turbo with unpredictable auto kickdown and terrible TC would regularly try and kill me...usually mid corner... I had every intention of going 500+bhp but as it was so scary with half that power I decided against that idea... hopefully after some tweeks the R will be the quickest 0-60 car I've owned... which is where the legal fun is to be had... 😎 NRW 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

RS6BRIT Posted September 5, 2019 Report Share Posted September 5, 2019 Me and my friends always said cars like the golf R, A45 etc were quick whereas cars like RS6s and M5s were fast. Quick to me means pointy, darty, good handlesing cars that can carry some speed and acceleration. tinman68 Posted September 5, 2019 Report Share Posted September 5, 2019 Audi R8 V10 and Lamborghini Aventador, if it wasn't for the severe lack of luggage space I'd have been extremely tempted to get a 2nd hand R8, it was the nicest to drive out of the two but must admit the Lambo sounded awesome !!
