My climate windscreen has suffered a stone chip. Am I right that chips cannot be repaired on c/windscreen? The chip is slightly larger than a 5p. Thanks for any advice.

Really sorry to hear this, sounded very frightening experience for you and your family. I’m not sure what to say , especially as the offenders were prepared to try to gain gain entry to your house whilst they could see, at least you have the dogs. Upgrade and install as much security as feasible. I hope you guys can move forward from this and be safe.

Although I have no experience of the Gators, I agree with Rebecca, my concern would be road grit getting in between the Gator and the wheel. That's why I decided not to fit them and take the risk of kerbing then refurb.

In my experience the VW dealer very nearly put me off the brand completely. I do like my R but it stills irritates me that I gave VW my money to receive dismal service both from the dealer and VWUK. Personally, I will not buy another VW........until the MK8 R is released 😛😛😛

In my experience VWUK customers services is an oxymoron. Disappointing considering you have a long history with VW ownership. Pleased that, overall, you are enjoying your car.
