Tragedy.... developing news.

Always the innocent parties that are killed and the shits walk away with cuts and bruises.

A friend of mine who is a traffic cop was on a pursuit a couple of months ago, the car they were chasing hit another car and the woman in the car that was hit died at the scene. But not before my mate and his partner had to give CPR etc.
They caught the shits and handcuffed them to railings so they were able to see them working on this girl to hopefully get it across what they had done. But he said they showed zero remorse not even remotely bothered.

My mate is now off sick with what is best described as PTSD from the incident.

The shits..... probably get a couple years in prison (maybe) let out in a third of the original sentence.
I wouldn’t be able to show restraint if I was my mate and would probably give these fuckers a right kicking before taking them to the station.

Thoughts go out to the families of those killed.

Totally agree. With regards to the British legal system and the way the most nastiest, most viscous criminals never ever receive sentences that the decent majority can say they're satisfied with never fails to deeply disgust me.

I'd work the bastards doing horrendous jobs in a chain gang - stick em down a mine, 12 hours a day for 10 years at least.

Proceed's go to the victims families, their running costs and pay for any other damages.

Even if they do a reasonable amount of time in prison - it will be too cushy, or they will just be off their face on drugs for most of it.

Criminals need to know that if you do time, it will be so horrendous you will never do anything bad ever again.

I’d just hang ‘em - they still have to be fed whilst they’re alive - just get rid.

  • ALS391 changed the title to I despair such a tragic waste - Sheffield Golf R crash

Terrible

Hope the driver of the Golf gets done and a proper sentence.

Hate the way it’s always described a car involved in a police chase, rather than the other way round, a car fleeing police, although article did say this later on.

I think it's a foregone conclusion that the car was stolen, early media photos showed a number plate which a member on the uk mk7 Golf forum has confirmed is his number but not his car. Sentences for this kind of crime need reviewing with some serious minimum terms whether it results in a loss of life or not, theft aside, driving in such a manner should be comparable with carrying a loaded gun . Would it stop it ? No, but it would keep repeat offenders out of the way for longer.
