Aidey Posted May 16, 2022 Report Share Posted May 16, 2022 Yes I live right on the west coast of Wales and all the VW dealers are miles away, used the same one for years, Its a nice drive up to it for sure along the coast road. Had a few Collision notices on the way up lol, a few dashboard changes where the dials just randomly switched around.. I just hope this all happens when they have it at test!!! Aidey Posted May 18, 2022 Report Share Posted May 18, 2022 Having a chat today with my mate who owns the new R also, he lives 2 miles down the road, his is fine, another guy with a mk8 gti lives 200 yards away his is fine.... Brainstorming we were thinking is it possible to have a faulty chipset on some cars ? Knowing my luck my build would have it, could it be that a faulty chip controlling all the infotainment and dash etc is failing?? What would they do then.? Its been in there Since Tuesday , and i have not heard from them yet, i have been watching the weconnect and can see they have been working on it, its been out and done about 20 miles, I'm waiting till 5pm then calling for an update..
