  1. Yeah absolutely agree although some dealers are better than others, I took my R with all engine parts still on, ECU/TCU tunes, exhaust and many other mods to VW and got my water pump replaced under DasWelt, I was prepared for them to say no as it was highly modified it wasn't covered and I certainly wouldn't have argued if they had. 2. Yeah even mine looks good in pics and it only ever sees a hand wash place [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787] Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  3. Depends on the type of tuning it's had, it mentions a box... other bits are easily removed maybe apart from springs so depends on the warranty issue. For example if you got the quite common creaking suspension I guess they would tell you to do one, also if engine issues they could maybe detect a tuning box had been used even when removed... As you say given the mods best to accept that the manufacturers warranty has been voided and to knock the seller down significantly! Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  4. No wheelspin with the launches? If so I would say nothing to worry about, and yeah hearing the pump kick in to life was such a good feeling for me also [emoji16] I just did the clutch thing as it was part of the procedure, maybe just priming the pump is all that's needed. Still wonder why mine stopped working as like I said it was clean as a whistle... Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  5. This is what I did with OBDEleven, sorry can't help with VCDS AWD -> Basic Settings -> Pump motor Then try reseting adaptations in Basic Settings. Engine on 1. (22) AWD -> Basic Settings -> Pump Prime for 30 seconds It seems to make a humming noise and then seems to purge. 2. (22) AWD -> Output Tests -> Clutch Engaged/Disengaged 2 times for 30 seconds each. Ignition on, Engine off 3. (22) AWD -> Clear codes (even if none are present) 4. (22) AWD -> Basic Settings -> Clear all adaptation values All worked perfectly Did you try a launch at all? 7. Now that must have cost a few £ but I live my Remus too so I know what you mean [emoji3590] Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  8. Managed to get the custom pids to come up in OBD2AA by uninstalling and reinstalling [emoji16] The app isn't on Google Play but still definitely available on XDA [emoji106] Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  9. That's why when I had an issue with my Haldex and I was still in warranty I first tried the OBDEleven route. I had massive wheelspin at the front but purged the pump and engaged the Haldex clutch a few times and luckily everything was back to how it should be. I booked in for a Haldex service thinking it would be clogged up but it was almost completely clean! Very strange. Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  10. I guess that means a lift is out of the question on so many levels... [emoji1787] Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  11. Fingers crossed [emoji106] Hopefully doesn't cause an issue with the ACC [emoji1696] Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks Ian, I think springs would just be for looks which I am honestly not too bothered about, would love some KWs, can't believe I had some in my hands in Wales when I picked up my wheels from Jon... should habe bought them but at the time I had just bought the wheels, seats and various other bits [emoji24] My loss was Batch's gain [emoji1787] Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  13. Went for a nice drive Sunday morning, beautiful hot day and deserted b roads. Great drive lots of twisty roads, turn in is so much improved I could get the rear tyres squealing so easily whereas before I would only get understeer, so happy with this mod [emoji16] Been told the increased traction via OBD is worth trying also [emoji848] Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  14. Good luck, I've had indifferent results with plastidip in the past... Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  15. Decent spec with DCC and Dynaudio and yes it has Eibach spacers and springs and engine mods including a TCU tune on some kind of plug in device, 13k miles in a year seems high to me for that price. Wouldn't say it is the best example... #akropovic? #leather? #panoroof? Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  16. Another plus vote for Dan at CLP. Not sure there are any valved systems for the R Estate though are there? It doesn't come with a valved system so unless it has its own valves and a way of operating them via a remote or something you might be struggling... Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  17. And voice control... "hey VW turn on ECO mode" "hey VW turn on classic FM" "hey VW burn this ugly car it hurts my eyes" Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  18. Looks lowered to my eyes so has it had anything else done to it? #maybenotascleanastheysay Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  19. Cheers, the garage I spoke to originally about just changing plugs said that often the coil packs break when removing so to expect possibly having to replace one to two, so sounded like they knew their stuff. Will mention it anyway [emoji106] Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  20. As long as you haven't actually moved the sensor if it gets blocked and then unblocked it doesn't need recalibration. Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk

  24. Well after reading up a but it seems oil temp and DSG temp are protected i.e. won't respond to calls from the ODB device unfortunately a VAG thing [emoji848] Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
  25. Other option is to do up the passenger belt of course [emoji106] Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
