  2. Why do people do this? Absolutely pointless... Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  3. Too much hair... Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  4. It is possible but not cheap, you need to replace the unit in the glovebox + screen and also nav gps aerial as well. You can sometimes find units 2nd hand but they have to have protection removed or they will not work with your car. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  5. Unless you are not in I guess Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  6. Yes someone else posted up a week or so ago saying the same thing they (Costco) will be supplying 97ron now Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  7. Nice one Fred Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  8. No worries, yeah I've done that a couple of times on Amazon usually works lol Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  9. In videos I've seen people just put it on the retractable cover for the cup holder with no issue, not the sort of thing you use all the time is it? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  10. The res delete doesn't affect the engine and only warranty it would void is for the exhaust ie if you had an issue with the back box maybe. Obviously with a turbo muffler or similar you could void anything engine wise really Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  11. If you mean these 2 then don't worry you don't need them I still have those left over from my first install. I was worried I missed something at first but they are not required, maybe needed for fitting to an older or different vehicle. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  12. I meant what branch of VW [emoji1787] Good to hear them taking pictures it helps both sides with claims of damage etc Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  13. What branch was it? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  14. Will check when I go down to the garage but I don't think very long at all yours have probably been cut down right by the connectors so you have lost maybe a cm or so nothing to cause any problem I'm sure. Do you have the connector to plug the red and brown connectors into once you take them out? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  15. I think it's more of a decision making dependant on recent activity ie if you are driving normally and then boot it you don't get the same reaction as if you have been on a spirited drive and boot it. Feels like learning but it's more a short term adjustment like you mention I would say but I'm no expert, far from it! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  16. Here is how those cables should look Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  17. No worries, you too Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  18. Ah not quite that simple as it's not a spare tyre one, it's the first one I had which is a boot floor one, same dsp unit but not quite as punchy bass as the spare tyre one. Anyway I'm not angling for a sale just explaining why I can't part with the loom unfortunately. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  19. I need the loom as I have another helix that I need to out in the classifieds. Not sure you will get around splicing unfortunately, you can get some solderless connectors and then just tape them up well, as long as you are careful there will be no problem. Real shame the connectors have been cut off, you could try VW and see if you can get the proper connectors and solder them on I guess. Vids - https://youtu.be/mtvFvXa2AaY Good luck Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  20. No not at all, who needs proper leather conditioner when you can use something you wash your balls with and then something you clean the saucepans with [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  21. I think with black wheels the black mirrors will look best, if you had silver prets or Cadiz then the silver mirrors would have tied in more Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  22. I got one of these as I fancied a change, put my blackvue in the missus car and thought I would give this a go. It's huge and at first I though I would take it out but I've got used to it now and I can see what's behind and what's behind that! It has a rear cam that works as either a reverse camera or as a rear recording camera and so far it's been excellent. No Wi-Fi or BT but I never used that on the blackvue really anyway. As with a lot of things on Amazon you put it in the basket and forget about it, you get nagged a few times and then surprise it goes on a flash sale [emoji6] got mine for £60 AUTO-VOX M6 FHD 1080P Dual Lens IPS Touch Screen Mirror Dash Cam Front and Rear View IP68 Waterproof Backup Camera with LED Night Vision,WDR,Loop Recording,Motion Detection,G-Sensor https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B072V3F5WC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_YohMCbRZJH0QZ Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  23. Similar but possibly even worse interior? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  24. bit hard to tell due to the road surface, was it the clunk sound that you hear a couple of times? If so sounds more suspension related possibly? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  25. Don't worry there are plenty of rusty old R owners on here! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
