  1. Good choice, 18s or 19s? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  2. As long as you specified the vehicle then all should be good, if you do need spigot rings check what ones get with the wheels as they are sometimes plastic and not the nest, alloy ones are far better [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  3. Looks good to me, may just need some spigot rings that's all Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  4. Have a read up on auto watch ghost although it wont stop your windows etc getting smashed it will save someone getting away with you car... Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  5. Fair enough, I guess if your excess is that high then your premiums may go up, I had my previous R written off last year, a no fault claim but my insurance has still gone up a little bit... I could have shopped around and saved about £50 but I stuck with my insurer as they were excellent and I got paid out really quickly.Hopefully this is an isolated incident but unfortunately they are getting more and more common these days... 6. Yep I think you are spot on, as nice as the Akrapovich is I think it's a miscalculation and tips an already let's be honest expensive hatch just over the line... anyway enjoy yours! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  7. Looks perfect, wouldn't be too much of a hassle to fit either I guess Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  8. Nice looking wheel [emoji41][emoji1665] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  9. Why would you not claim on the insurance? Unless you have a £1,500 excess.it just doesn't make any sense? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  10. Good that he is seeing sense, as for the shop it's not your worry, we all think we are irreplaceable but life and business goes on whatever... Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  11. Depending on what car the OP has it might have 16" or 17" wheels so will most likely limit the options. Avon tyres in 16" are about £50 fitted so suggesting £150 19" MPS4S may be a little ott was my point [emoji16] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  12. Unfortunately not many people see it that way, you can also brake really hard to avoid an idiot and then thr idiot with crappy tyres on behind rear ends you... For the record I wasn't suggesting cheapo tyres just something a little less focused than the likes of MPS4S or Goodyears, if the OP can afford the best then great [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  13. Yes will be interesting to see how the TCR is recieved, for the most expensive Golf I feel it lacks a few luxuries that you would expect like better seats and body kit which is imo a bit too subtle even for my reserved tastes. Putting the Akra on as a no choice extra is a strange one also, maybe a good deal was done to produce them? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  14. Cheers Greg, I was half right just thought your plug in device retained the use of the button [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  15. Proper Barry Boys [emoji1785] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  16. Phew! Had me worried there for a moment [emoji1787] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  17. I would say depends on the usage of a 2017 tdi, if it mainly does motorway miles then a bit ott to spend £600 on tyres although agree they are the best choice Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  18. There are gel stick on centres on ebay I have R ones but they do VW too if you want them, you can stick them over the aftermarket centre caps of they are a different size, mine were Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  19. 1st one [emoji848] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  20. Very personal thing wheels, we all like a bit of public appreciation but at the end of the day if you like them that's all that matters really Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  21. Yeah if you are considering ghost then great option, I'm sure I read that Greg had bought a plug in device that does the same job though [emoji848] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  22. Yes a strange one, could be so many different things it's hard to pinpoint, the electric on these cars are probably more complicated than the early Apollo space rockets! I have coded mine off the same way as you and if/when I get rid it's good to know that if I have an issue I can use a few credits to sort it. Maybe there should be a 'back to factory' setting in OBDEleven, my car had several tweaks done when I got it, some Inwould have done anyway but some of the lighting ones were just stupid... Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  23. Yeah it's easily removed if there is a problem although I have read if they really want to check they can apparently tell if you have had one fitted... Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  24. I've had mine turned off via the voltage method since I got my car a year ago with no problems whatsoever, but then I don't intend to turn it back on ever. I have read about a device that once fitted reverses the button so instead of being on my default it is off by default and then a button press turns it on, sounds exactly what you are looking for. I think it [email protected] that had it fitted? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  25. On my current R I have Nitrac discs and Tarox pads which are a little step up from oem, only precious R I had mtec discs and brembo pads which are pretty much oem standard Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
