    So I now have a new daily, a Volvo S60. Always liked the look of them and as I was only using the Golf R as a daily and the XKR for fun drives I decided comfort and space for family days out were in order. It has a nice spec including a B&W system that is sublime. Will be stripping the Golf back to stock and posting up bits for sale on here before eBay if anyone is interested.

    Found an old Android 13 phone so set up AATorque ahead of my trip to Wales next month, all working perfectly 👌

    Got some new wheels as old 19s had been refurbed a couple of times. Went for 18s as my R is a daily and quality of roads is just getting worse and worse... Not too bad for an 11 year old R on just under 88k miles, it will get to stretch its legs again in May as it has done most years that I have had it.

    Yes agreed the Dynaudio is a big improvement over standard, I first fitted a Helix sub and then went for the Audison Golf package which is much better than the Helix or Dynaudio options and not a huge amount of work to fit. It does mean changing the door speakers and I changed the tweeters too. Still not a patch on the B&W I've had in other cars but extremely good 👌 Kudos to someone going to all the trouble of retrofitting a Dynaudio system though

    Having heard the Dynaudio in a MK7.5 I am glad I went with the Audison package, all very plug & play and sounds better imo

    Currently running RS3 coil packs on a stage 2 R on around 75k miles. Time for a spark plug change, any recommendations over stock?

    I've been stage 2 with full remus DPs and catback for around 6 years and 40k miles as the Golf is my daily. The car is left in race mode permanently and is perfectly quiet in normal driving, however in race mode it pops and bangs nicely, just enough for me anyway. I have spent a lot on my sound system and I want to hear it when I'm just driving around normally. Perfect daily driver for me.

    V8 f-type at least double what I paid for the XKR, but agreed a great looking car also

    XKR to go with my Golf R 500 bhp v 400 bhp Golf is quicker to 60 and quicker from A>B in 99% of situations but the Jaaaag is an absolute beast 💪 Very happy with my 2 car garage 😊

    No worries, hopefully it won't need coding, I would wait until you fit it and see how you think it sounds. Unfortunately there isn't a way to see how it's coded without the dongle.

    Had a play with Torque Pro now that it can be added to AndroidAuto. Handy being able to see Oil Temp, DSG Temp and correct coolant Temp
