Rear Heated Seats and Climate Not Working

Hi,

First post on here. Sorry if it's been mentioned before but I can't find anywhere which specifically mentions rear heated seats.

I got my Mk8 yesterday and it's great. Love it. However, the controls for the heated seats and climate in the back don't seem to work. I've tried to adjust the temp and activate either of the rear heated seats but nothing happens. Do I need to activate something in the menus or should they just work?

Thanks,

Phil

Sorry for the dumb question, but,

are you should you have heated rear seats ?

Ive heard they are a separate option from the fronts

(don’t have heated seats myself, so only based on rumors)

They are a separate option yes, if you spec leather you'll get front heated and cooled but nothing on the back, so would need to spec it again for the full price to get heated rear, which I imagine most people wouldn't do. You will know if you have them as there will be extra buttons on the rear vent in the centre console specifically for the seats. Only the outer seats get heated.

Hi Phil, make sure too you haven’t got your rear climate on sync with the front, as this turns off individual control at the rear. Keen to see photos of your car too when you can!
