Fantastic result. I am going to Unicorn Next Tuesday for same on my7R.

If you don’t mind me asking, what fuel octane do you run on? I run 97 but not sure if that’s good enough?

I thought only 2 fuels existed Tesco 99 or shell v-power. you lean something new every day

A vote for MRC here, they seem to produce very fast tunes.

 

my car is an Mk7.5 MRC stage 1 Estate, and timed on dragy with a 3.5 sec 0-60 and 11.7 1/4 mile. I think numbers on dyno was about 390bhp and 540nm

 

i wouldn’t take my car anywhere else for tuning

MRC did a custom tune for engine and DSG for my 2015 Golf R. had no issues and will be going back once I get the BCS cat back exhaust fitted. Also did a check on my old 2003 RS6, again with no issues.

Always found them very helpful

R-tec get my vote. £450 for ecu and tcu tune, including health check and Haldex service. 
 

plus your car is on the dyno for a good amount of time to perfect the tune.

Is that R-Tec in St Albans? How is the tune?

I would assume that's R-Tech in nuneaton as that's where mine is going soon

Sorry to resurrect this thread. MRC for me, took my 7.5 DSG there back in April for their Stage1 ECU and TCU remap. dyno numbers came out 395hp/547nm. very impressed. Drove about 100 miles each way. Not launched car yet so cannot provide any 0-60 times.
